QOTD : What is your opinion on gothic adults ?
Just, What do you think of people who are still gothic at 20, 40, 70 ? Are "adult "goth...
Lost teenagers ? Mad people ? Normal ? Excentric ? Cool ? Else ?
(I'll post my opinion of 21 years goth after that)

You rock! just be yourself.
i love your dress
my opinion is that age is irrelevant. goth is love, and a very special kind of love. we love almost everything there is and are open to things and willing to try things new. it's an eternal fascination about what lies beyond.
@SilverBird_Loves@xanga - I wouldn't have said it in a better way. Stunning !
I'm thinking the same. It's not a matter of age, but of heart, person, belief and ideal.
Clearly, it belonged to them before it did us. After all, the subculture began with "dark punks" in the 70's and 80's (depending on where you live.)
@SilverBird_Loves@xanga - Very well put.
i personally think there is a time period for everything. I think if your 38 and still rocking platform boots that you look foolish. Sorry my opinion.
@Demolitiongurl88@xanga - I understand and respect your point of view (in fact, it's an opinion shared by so many persons). BUt does this mean that when you'll be a granny, you'll put on flower dresses, glasses, 35lbs more and curlers ?
i'm not ruling it out (whats wrong with flowers?!?!) not necessarily though and I see your point as well. Rock it out you know, everyone should be who they are
@Demolitiongurl88@xanga - Nothing wrong with flowers ^^ just because one of my grand mothers love wearing flower dresses. I was trying to make a "stereotype" granny. In fact its true, even fashionista are curling nowadays ^^
@Begierde - I rock in flower dressssssses! Lol
I was going to automatically say that being an older goth is cool, and in my head it is, but when I saw guys in their late 30s and 40s hanging around the club full of teens and 20-somethings, I was a little weirded out. On the other hand, I admire the commitment, plus a lot of the really nice clothing is very expensive and it's necessary to be older and have a job to afford it. I get a sense of adult goths being the ones who really love the lifestyle even after it's no longer just a semi-acceptable part of the "rebellious teenager" phase. Of course, I haven't met many adult goths, so I might not find the "old" guy at the club creepy if I was friends with him.
That dress is awesome.
What a gorgeous dress! That's beautiful, and you're really pretty. I like it, I like the style. :)
@OhItWontBeForever@xanga - Thank you !

@LovelyxBlackLace@xanga - If you are speaking about the girl's boots, I think you can have them on xtrax. It's a german shop who send the stuff all over the world :)

well if you're not doing it out of a mid life crisis, then I think it's cool. I'm not goth persay but I think goth people tend to be vary cool age aside, so I say all power to them :)
